Who we are

Project Be A Hero was founded in 2015 and initially focused its fundraising efforts toward supporting veteran causes. Over the past decade, Project Be A Hero has branched out to support a variety of organizations including Fealgood Foundation, Norwescap Food Bank, Warren County Habitat for Humanity, Warren County Family Promise, Nicholas Whilborg Foundation, and the United States War Dogs Association, raising nearly $110,000 cumulatively for these organizations. All organizations are thoroughly vetted prior to being selected to ensure donations reach the intended beneficiaries.

Seeking to maximize donations to these worthy causes, Project Be A Hero is run by a volunteer board and membership and pays no salaries.
